Arena Season 4 Items Activated on PTR

Blizzard has not announced the starting date for Season 4 yet, however, all of the Season 5 items have been activated on the 2.4.2 PTR. This must mean that the start of Season 4 will likely be announced very soon. You’ll then have 2 weeks to gather up all the points you need (unless you’re already maxed out) before it starts.

Registration for the 2008 World of Warcraft Arena Tournament’s first qualification round is now closed and Phase 3 of the tournament has begun. Participants have been battling it out on the tournament realms for the past two weeks while fine-tuning their team composition and strategies. Blizzard’s Arena Tournament 2008: Registration Is Ending!

After two weeks of intense training – not to mention the beginning of the second phase of the qualifiers – registrations for the World of Warcraft 2008 Arena Tournament will be closing soon! Hurry up and register before today midnight (11:59 CET, May 6) if you want to join other gladiators in this epic battle for fame and fortune!

You will be able to track the progress of your team on the World of Warcraft Armory. Simply select the Coliseum 1 battlegroup. You can also find more information about the tournament on the Arena Tournament information page.

There are a multitude of changes in patch 2.4.2 (currently on the PTR) that will help to prevent boosting, pointselling and wintrading. To the best of my knowledge, none of these changes are live yet.

Season 4 is on the PTR

The Season 4 vendors are not on the Public Test Realms (PTRs). Keep in mind that the stats are PTR stats and could be adjusted any time between now and when they are released on the live realms. Some things to note: the Season 4 prices are the same as the current Season 3 prices and personal rating requirements are not on the items as of now, but they will be there between now and when they go live.
